Experiencing Online Advertising

  Online advertising plays a huge role in marketing field nowadays. Marketers earn a big amount of money using this fast growing type of advertising. Almost every web site has many ads on it. We can see some of therm every single day while using social net works,entertain websites,or even this blogs we are doing for one of our class all of them have a portion of advertising. In some cases, without our intention, we are advertise brands that we use,that we like or would like to have... We got use to ads surrounding us so much that now we don't even pay attention to most of it!
   Many websites that I use pretty often, have a lot of pop ups (ads appear in a separate window), interstitials (runs while users waits for page to download), superstitials (short animated ads playing on top of Web page), and even video ads (audiovisuals).. Here is the simplest Web page with ads:

PayPal experience

Today I tried to apply for an account at PayPal. Actually I'm not a big fan of Internet purchasing and  I don't need this account at the moment, but since it was my assignment at school I did so.. I entered private information there such as my first name, last name, e-mail, address, even phone number, and of cause card number. I really concerned about security of my private information in the Internet, I don't trust it. Finally, I got an account, but somehow I've got a problem with my card. Yeah! You can imagine my face when I saw a warning there... Luckily it wasn't serious. The problem is my card is not credit it's debit! I hope that they wont call me few days later and ask for credit card number which I don't have yet. So by now I have useless account at PayPal. But no matter what happened with my card there, I learn a lot of information about this web site. I found that it's useful for people who really need to make a transactions, purchases something in the Internet, and even accept the payments. In my opinion with PayPal they can be sure that all that transactions made secure. I hope that one day I will have a credit card and than I will use their service for sure! :)
